I'm so thankful for all of the families who have welcomed me into their home since I started my in home newborn lifestyle sessions. As of this week, it had officially been one year since I brought this knew addition to my business. I'm so overwhelmed and so, SO very thankful.

Several months back Sara messaged me to set up an appointment for their little ones arrival. Since you can never really plan for a baby's arrival, I told her to keep me updated and that we would go from there. With a few messages here and there to bring me up to speed, she finally sent me a date for Mavericks arrival and we planned our in home session. Every time I go into a new home, you never really know what everything will be like. What will the lighting be like? Will baby be sleepy or awake? Will baby be upset? How are Mom and Dad (and big brother) adjusting? There's always lots of questions beforehand. With the Schneiders family, I was at ease instantly. The lighting was every photographers dream! Maverick opened his eyes for a few photos and quietly slept through most. He wasas so very sweet and happy (until small hunger came at the end, but who doesn't get a little cranky when they are hungry?) and his family is beyond perfect. While Mom and Dad would slip away to change Maverick for the next set of photos, Brody and I had some great conversations. Most of them evolved around his Star Wars action figure that he could remove the head on and how his pirates walked the plank on his ship, but they were great conversations! And he made me laugh over and over again! Kevin and Sara are such great parents and Brody is such a good brother. Maverick, you are such a lucky little man with this family of yours <3
