I've worked with the Turner family for so many years now. Every single time Jennifer always has something special up her sleeve and this was probably my most favorite idea yet. Lifestyle photography is always a favorite of mine, but when it involves two super cute girlies and their Grandma doing their evening farm chores it pretty much becomes the best shoot ever.
During this evening I tagged along and captured all of the normal routines that these three experience together. From feeding the farm cats and cows to riding in the kubota and making grain angels. Of course we can't forget playing some drums on empty grain buckets- this girls live the most interesting life! And they are such a hoot!
Adding "A day in the life" lifestyle sessions has always been a goal of mine- especially since I took a class from a fabulous photographer while at WPPI with my photog friend this past winter. One of her biggest lessons was not guiding children and letting them do exactly what THEY want to do... and I can say that we did just that! (Ok.. I may have asked them to throw some grain here and there haha!) But all that sass, funny faces and hard work we captured along the way was 100% them. Of course we had to do some posed photos at the end too to celebrate the upcoming holidays and Briley's recent preschool graduation.
Hands down one of my favorite and one of the funniest shoots I've ever had during my photography journey. I can't wait to offer these full time and start capturing more real life moments.
Enjoy! <3
