I've been so eager to post this blog way before even picking my camera up to head out to shoot it. Now don't get me wrong, I love each and every single one of my sessions- but for me I just needed to do something a little different than my "normal". This session is exactly what I needed.

A few days beforehand, Krista sent me a photo of the dresses that she picked out. I honestly wasn't sure which one I loved more because I knew both would help in creating the most beautiful maternity session. Since we used a creek access near my home, we first met at my house and then headed off to Krista's parents house to catch the sunset there.

Now, let me tell you about Kristas parents. Gina, her mom has been a long time friend of mine for many, many years now- and she is also a photographer herself (that can be pretty nerve wrecking but I knew everything was going to be perfect!). This is the third time that Gina has fully trusted me to capture extremely important events in their families lives- The Wedding of their oldest, A Memory of Life session for their families backbone and this session I'm about to share with you all. Man, I love this family. They are the most straight forward people and would help anyone in an instant.

Being able to capture important events for lifelong friends is such a joy. Justin, my gosh you gotta be the luckiest guy I have ever met. You got yourself a darn good girl there and are joining ties with a family that is good as it gets!

I can't wait to meet little miss Ella Rae- I already know she's going to be so loved <3
