Right before Christmas I received a call from a very kind lady, Jane, wanting to purchase a gift certificate for her granddaughter, Desi, to have her senior pictures taken. While chatting, Jane had let me know that she wanted Desi to have a snow and spring session. We found the perfect package for them and I dropped off the gift certificate at their house.

Now, us MO people know that this was supposed to be a "terrible" winter. However, winter started off with 70 degree weather and I started to panic a little that the snow we needed was never going to come. Finally, after 2 months of waiting, it showed up. In full force I might add. And of course, I had caught the flu bug the day of the first snow. Thankfully, the snow stuck around (and is still sticking around) and we were able to get her in during the week when school had canceled.

Now on to Desi. I knew we were we going to get along just great once she stood in front of a tree stand and started talking about how she is a hunter. If you didn't know, I'm also a hunter. I always love getting to know my clients on a personal level. Another thing that I love is when clients want to know me on a personal level. We shared stories that day, and I'm so thankful for that.

Desi without a doubt blew me away at her session. Smiling or serious, this girl is all around stunning and has an AMAZING head on her shoulders. All around great girl!
