Prom is hands down one of my favorite times of the year. Seeing all the guys dressed up looking super sharp in their tuxes and the girls all dolled up with their beautiful hair, make-up and gowns is always so exciting. But, this year's prom made me feel really old. OLD! I get it, I'm only 25.. so I shouldn't really be using the term "old" just yet, however, this years prom session's had a different meaning attached to it. I've known the young man in these pictures since he was days old. I've watched him grow, babysat him, broke up fights between him and his younger brothers, been on several family vacations, helped with scraped knees, caught him out when he wasn't supposed to be, been an adopted aunt for the past 17 years.. oh the list goes on and on. So, capturing these images of Garrett attending his Junior Prom is a huge deal to me. I love this young man and the person he has become so much.

Aylsa, you looked completely stunning as always (and I apologize again for making you sink those pretty heels in mud.. even though the shot we got was TOTALLY worth it!). I'm so happy that I was able to work with you so many times in one year.

One more thing, could you imagine taking this car to prom!?! I'm so jealous!!
